Who We Are
Christ Church Cottingham is firstly an independent charismatic evangelical christian church.
We are contemporary but not compromising on the truth of the Bible. We are a mainstream Christian church but like many churches in the UK, we are not formally joined to any national denomination although we are members of the national Evangelical Alliance. We operate as a CIO based charity under our leadership team and led by Pastor Scott Tones.

Where We Came From
Christ Church Cottingham started in the 50's as a small group of Christians meeting regularly in Manor House, Hallgate in Cottingham. Christ Church hosted its first service in the Endyke Lane building gathering early 1998.
Where We Are Headed
Christ Church Cottingham is committed to fostering a family built around faith in Jesus Christ. As we move forward as a church family, belonging remains at the centre of who we are as followers of Christ. Christ Church Cottingham is made up of people that found hope in Jesus Christ, and we simply want as many people as possible to experience that same hope and freedom.

-Join us before and after each Sunday service and enjoy some homemade cake and coffee or tea.
-Monday-Wednesday 10am-1pm Church community coffee morning in the church building.

-Sunday 10:30am Ps Scott will be teaching around the idea of "God hasnt given up on us"
Proverbs 3:5 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding."
Our theme is all about trusting that God hasn’t given up on you and neither have we. No matter what stage, age, or season you find yourself in, you are invited to be a part of our community.

We run a small, simple program from 10:45am after the welcome and notices in the main service.
CONNECT GROUPS
Join us 7pm fortnightly on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday (term times) for Connect Group.
